Google for Educators
This project will teach educators in a K-12 environment the great advantages to using Google and the many different options that it has. Our district is a Google for educators district, and many of the teachers do not use the opportunities available to them. This year the student to technology ratio for middle and high schools will be one to one with each student receiving a chrome book. Elementary schools are working on a 2:1 ratio. This makes it important know how to use the technology to improve student performance. Google classroom allows students and parents to communicate easily, report grades, behavior, and classroom activities. Google offers so many tools and apps that teachers are not aware of or do not have time to learn. By going through this website and watching videos and animations, they will be able to enhance the learning in their classroom.
