Mission Statement
Our days are full of “requests for connections,” both at home and at work. How we respond is a critical factor in creating a climate of trust. (Brake, 2016) In every job, the connections we make, how we make them, how we keep them, and what they can mean to us, and to our future is the true measure of our integrity.
My personal vision of integrity is the cornerstone of my mission statement. I am committed to making every connection I make count. Every person has something positive to offer, and these connections help me emphasize the positive and utilize the strengths of those around me to create an environment of trust and teamwork. I am committed to refraining from judging others, gossiping, or ever speaking badly of the company for which I work. By keeping this mission statement in a visable location I can be reminded daily of those things which I have committed to do and I can make sure that I act accordingly. In this manner I can help create an environment where people will be happy to come to work, customers will find satisfaction with our service, and my bosses can be relieved of many of their burdens.
“It has been said that what you measure will be your mission. Also, clarity of the mission statement brings clarity on every other level of the organization” (Smith, 2016)
